News in brief: Wednesday 22 October
This year’s Marketing Agencies Association Globes Awards, held in Canada, have been the most successful for Australia in the awards’ history. Earth Hour for Leo Burnett won two Globes and the Best in the World award. Other Aussie winners were CSM (Silver) for best sponsorship with Carlton Draught Plastic Cup, Apollo Marketing (Silver) for best trade marketing with Slurp, Rip and Win, BMF (Bronze) for best direct marketing in a promotion with HarvesTED and Momentum Worldwide (Bronze) for best digital communications campaign with Mosaic.
